Accessibility Statement

Olhar Poente is committed to making its website accessible, using Portuguese Decree-Law 83/2018 and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA, as its reference.

Compliance status

This website is partially compliant with WCAG 2.2 level AA: it has been designed and tested to meet this level, except for some older PDF documents listed below. Compliance is checked with automated and manual testing for every new release.

What we have done

• Full keyboard navigation, with a skip-to-content link and focus always visible;
• Semantic structure with headings, landmarks and alternative text for images;
• Suitable colour contrast and a high-contrast mode;
• An accessibility toolbar with text size, spacing, a dyslexia-friendly font, an easy-reading font, underlined links, a large cursor and a pause-animations option;
• Respect for operating-system preferences for reduced motion and contrast;
• Content available in Portuguese and English.

Known limitations

Some older PDF documents (for example, scanned reports from 2017 and 2018) may not be fully accessible. If you need a document in another format, ask us and we will send you an accessible version.
