After-School Club (CATL)
Exploring, learning and growing beyond the classroom.

The Olhar Poente after-school club gives children a safe, enriching space outside school hours, where learning happens in a relaxed, hands-on and fun way.
We believe in non-formal education: active methods, collaborative projects and activities that grow out of children's real interests. Children help choose what to do — and that makes all the difference to their motivation and sense of belonging.
Learning by doing
- Social, emotional and cognitive skills developed through play;
- Cooperative, inclusive environments where difference is valued;
- Teamwork, empathy and respect;
- Environmental awareness, from reusing materials to outdoor learning.
Projects such as SuperQuinas and our celebrations of the international days linked to the Selo Protetor show how engaging and connected learning can be. More than somewhere to spend time, our club is a place to grow, where every child is respected, challenged and welcomed as they are.
